Childhood Matters: The Teen Brain in the Digital Age

On Sunday November 29, 2009 I was a guest on the radio show Childhood Matters.

Here is a description of the show.
Twitter, iPods, text messages, and YouTube are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the new media that is becoming a fixture of our culture. Research is finding that today's fast-paced, media-driven life is altering the way young minds develop. What are some of the challenges and benefits of today's digital age? Co-hosts Beth Samuelson, of Student Organizational Services and Nurse Rona will be joined by Jason Brand, LCSW, founder of Positive Technology Relationships, to discuss cutting through the media noise and helping your teen improve their learning skills.
